Manisha graduated from NYU – Stern School of Business, with a B.S. in International Business and Marketing and a minor in Psychology and performing arts. She then went on to work in PR and Marketing at Sony Music International and Universal Music Group in New York. Meeting her husband, Adesh Baharani, changed her course and lead her to the beautiful island of St Maarten. Adesh moved to St Maarten with his family at a young age. He went on to build Joe’s Jewelry International, one of the first family-owned jewelry boutiques in St Maarten. Established in 1980, Joe’s Jewelry International has become a Market leader in the luxury Market and is ranked #1 on Trip Advisor today. Adesh and Manisha have thoroughly enjoyed all the positive experiences that St Maarten has to offer, and continue to do so with their two beautiful children. Manisha has been a member of a volunteer lead, non-profit organization based in New York, called Children’s Hope India, for almost 20 years. Their mission is to help underprivileged children progress from poverty to prosperity, giving them a chance for a brighter future. Manisha has a strong creative side, with a passion for singing and music. She has performed at many cultural and charity events and continues to sing and conduct music workshops in St Maarten and teach music to the children of St Maarten. Since moving to St Maarten, Manisha has worked on several Marketing and PR initiatives at Joe’s Jewelry International, and in her own start up resort wear company, AriAmi Resort Wear – which was inspired by her two sons, Ari and Amir. Manisha holds a few things very close to her heart, including, her two sons, singing and International travel around the Globe, which allows her to immerse herself in different cultures and build relationships.
