Our Island

St. Martin, the smallest territory shared by two nations, is an island that offers its visitors a multi-faceted experience. Festive and cosmopolitan, the “friendly island” is a Caribbean landmark. The French side of the island is home to the gourmet capital of the Caribbean, luxury shopping, world class beaches, and of course a beautiful collection of luxury villas. The Dutch side offers excellent entertainment through its sensational night life, casinos, and many more activities like deep sea fishing and numerous water activities/sports.

Terres Basses, located on the French side, is a private gated community home to over 200 villas. The residence consists of 1400 acres bordered by the Caribbean Sea and the Simpson Bay Lagoon on the southeast. Terres Basses is known by many for its beautiful beaches, Baie Longue, Baie aux Prunes and Baie Rouge, but more importantly as the best place on the island to view the sunset. The 4 star hotel, Belmond La Samanna, is also located in Terres Basses on Baie Longue Beach.
