La Villa Hibiscus is a hidden gem and a unique restaurant experience

La Villa Hibiscus is a hidden gem and a unique restaurant experience.

A gastronomic restaurant in the hills of Pic Paradis, La Villa Hibiscus, is a hidden gem and a unique experience.

Your experience starts even before you arrive. As you drive up a winding road, you’ll hear the frogs singing and ask yourself where are we going?

Once you arrive you will be greeted by Sabine, the wife of Chef Bastian, and taken up the stairs to La Villa Hibiscus where the setting and views are incomparable to anywhere else on the Island.

Sabin was, born on the Island of St. Martin and was previously a nurse in France. Her husband, Chef Bastian from France, trained in some of the best French restaurants in the world (Joel Robuchon** and Anne Sophie Pic***). Together they will serve you what we call art on a plate. You will admire the details of the presentation even before you delight in the flavors.

The concept is simple and unique

You can choose the following menus:

A Discovery Menu 100€ / person (excluding drinks) – 5 courses
A Gourmet Menu 150€ / person (excluding drinks) – 6 courses
A Prestige Menu 200€ / person (excluding drinks) – 7 courses

All you need to provide are the allergies, intolerances or dislikes and a personalized menu will be established.

Beaches in St. Martin Re-Open starting today!

Beaches on the French side, St. Martin, are re-opening the first time since they were shut down due to Covid-19.

All beaches on the French side will be open from today, May 8, for swimming or individual sports such as walking or jogging until June 1, 2020, the Collectivité confirmed last night.

BBQs, picnics, and large gatherings on the beach are still prohibited until further notice. But during this time, we will take some good news where we can. Let’s take a look at some of our favorite beaches on the island. While some of these are on the Dutch side, we can still enjoy watching.
