All travel to and from the island is only for emergency and supply purposes. At this time we are happy to inform you that the hospitals of the island have done an excellent job handling the logistics of caring for the island population.
With everything that is going on around the world, we find ourselves in a place where none of us would have imagined a couple of months ago. We pray for the health and safety of our fellow world citizens, friends, and family. As we are put to the challenge in our fight against COVID-19 we become a united force working together towards the same goal. Overall, people have been doing a good job following the implemented measures. As of today, there are 55 active cases on the island.
We cannot yet say when the island will reopen but we do know that the French government has extended the confinement until May 11th. Both the French and Dutch sides are working together to ensure they enforce similar policies.
