LESLEY REED – Owner/Broker

Born in England I left to live in France when I was 17 years old after traveling all over the world I chanced upon St Martin… Basically, I never left! I am the mother of two wonderful humans one who works with me Harrison and Tess who is training horses in Ireland. I am also the very proud Grandmother to Archer Harrison born Feb 2020. Oh and two coconut retrievers who go by the name of Zeus and Gaia. I have worked in Real estate since 1988 and started my own company in 1999.  It has been a wonderful and varied experience so far! Looking forward to the ever-expanding horizons… In my spare time (until recently not much of it) I am an outdoors person. I love anything to do with nature and the universe. Singing, playing my guitar and tarot cards along with Yoga and mediation keep me somewhat normal although I am still not sure what that is. St. Martin has been my home for 30 years and continues to enchant me.

HARRISON DROUIN REED – Director

Born and raised in St. Martin. I am half French and English. I left St. Martin when I was 14 years old to escape from “island fever”. After getting educated in the U.S I came back to my native island to live full time. It was an easy choice to come back as most hobbies involve the ocean or warm weather! I am a proud father of a 1.5 months old boy and husband to a wonderful woman. When I am not working I am either in the ocean or tending to my garden. I have a little permaculture project that seems to take up a lot of my time. Let’s say I am a surf and turf kind of guy! Other than that, I have 5 dogs, 9 chickens, turtles, and a lot of tilapia.

MAGALI AUBERT – Reservations Manager

35 years ago I was reborn here in St Martin, (most of my co-workers were not even born at that time 😉 funny but true)  From my birthplace in South Of France I brought my constant and contagiously good mood, a big personality and a flair for a certain art of living, talking about Art, painting is my joy, my meditation and hope it brings joy to others in the making. My oldest friends on the island became my family. Also for a while when I was in the clothing retail business, I had the enormous chance to meet some amazing clients who also became part of that family, from New York to Phoenix, Milano, Toronto, I can spread my wings and share some time with the ones who call me their friend. I am Lucky! The island is where I live, this island amazes me every day by its beauty, all that time spent here and still sometimes I am surprised to be that lucky. By the way, I am the Reservations Manager, I am the one who helps you come and fall in love with St Martin for the first time or again and again.

APOLLINE GAIGNARD – Concierge

I was born on the French side of St. Martin but spent my childhood on the Dutch side. I have an accent when I speak French that’s how good my English is now. I lived in Canada for many years and I came back to St. Martin in search of sunshine. I’ve worked in Canada, Anguilla, France and St. Martin in the Tourism Industry. I love the beach, to travel, exercise and drink red wine, and animals. I have a dog named Oaky who is full of character, my daily early morning alarm clock at 6 AM including the weekend who sings to wake me up. I oversee the Concierge Department at St. Martin Sotheby’s – private boat charters, in-villa chef services, in-villa massages, facials, restaurant reservations, and recommendations – you name it I make it happen!

LAURENT DROUIN LE MAY – Villa Manager

Born in Paris I left my family home when I was 16. I had many different jobs like modeling, restaurant manager, an agent at the airport Charle de Gaule, national ice hockey trainer, interior designer, photography, and LGBTQ activist. I traveled the world before coming to SXM in 1987 to open a restaurant on the French side in Marigot which was called La Petite Boufe. Later on, I opened a bar in Philipsburg in 1990. After I stopped the restaurant business I opened my own company for interior design and started doing property renovations. In 2003, I was involved in the construction of one of the largest villas in St. Martin as a project manager and assistant to the interior designer. When the villa was completed I became the general manager for that villa. I have 2 children and today I work for my son who is the CEO of the company and for the mother of my 2 children who is the owner broker of St Martin Sotheby’s Realty. My current position is Villa Manager.

PHIL BROWN – Marketing Director

I spent the first 18 years of my life in a small town north of Boston, Massachusetts where I played sports, was involved in theater and even spent a short time as a caddie at Myopia Hunt Club. After high school, I flew to Los Angeles where I spent time exploring my options and figuring it all out. I worked at Universal Studios Hollywood, Hallmark Hall of Fame, and before finding my true passion, spent time working at a movie trailer house working with a team to market films like “Her”, “Wild” and the HBO show “True Detective.” I joined the SXMSIR team in 2015 and moved to NYC to be closer to my favorite island. Follow our Instagram account to see my work as a videographer and drone operator and it’s also a great place to communicate with me directly as I have enjoyed interacting through the company account with all of you. I love my NYC life where I see as many Broadway/Off-Broadway shows as I can, but hope to one day make the move to St. Martin.

ANNE-MARIE GENEVOIS – Accountant

I was born in France, in the Bourgogne region to be precise, known for its grand crus. After 10 years working at a ski station in Savoie and after many voyages, I met my husband. We have two children, a boy named Mateo who lives in France and a girl named Lou who lives in St. Martin. We are grandparents to our wonderful granddaughter called Violette. It was 20 years ago when my family and I fell in love with St. Martin and for no reason in the world would leave our little paradise. During these years, I studied accounting and I specialized in Human Resources. I started working at St. Martin Sotheby’s Realty 6 years ago.
