St. Martin Lowlands Hurricane Relief Project

St. Martin Sotheby’s International Realty is committed to the people of St. Martin, our beloved destination and the villa rental industry which provides a livelihood for many on St. Martin. The tourism industry has been hit hard and the people that live from that industry will suffer the long-term consequences. As a company, we have thought long and hard as to how we can help St. Martin rebound from this catastrophic event. One of the ways we decided to help is by providing support for a non-profit organization called St. Martin Lowlands Hurricane Relief Project.

Our Mission:
To bring immediate humanitarian relief and long-term economic redevelopment to financially distressed residents and workers in the Terres Basses and Dutch-Lowlands regions of St. Martin who were affected by Hurricane Irma.

We are currently building a registry that includes all villa staff (Villa Manager, Caretakers, Housekeepers, Gardeners) along with their family members and dependents living on the island. The relief project aims to support villa staff members throughout this upcoming high season, low season and up to the start of the next 2019 high season.

St. Martin Sotheby’s International Realty is requesting aid on the behalf of the St. Martin Lowlands Hurricane Relief Project. As a community, we can make a difference in the lives of many that rely on the economic strength of Terres Basses. Any monetary donations are appreciated but help can come in many ways. We are committed to providing food, shelter, and materials for the individuals in need.

For more information please visit the official St. Martin Lowlands Hurricane Relief Project website.

The relief project has already donated 5 tons of dry food and hygiene products. Initial donations were distributed to our villa staff members and we are looking forward to providing more relief in the weeks to come.
